(from left) Mary, Jackson, Cerren, Brandy, Amanda, Valesca, Jasmin

Welcome to our newest lab members: Valesca DeGroot and Mary Clinton!

Valesca has joined us from the University of Guelph to pursue a Masters degree. She will be researching how field metabolic rate is impacted by cold stress in juvenile Atlantic cod, and how this impacts individual recruitment success within a population.

Mary (also a member of the Snelgrove lab) joins us from Simon Fraser University to pursue a Masters degree. She is researching ecosystem functioning in coastal Labrador seafloor environments.
